GEAR
Below is the gear I personally use and highly recommend for any photographer/adventurer.
Landscape Photography
Nikon D7100 DSLR - This camera, in my opinion, is still the best camera in the crop sensor world. The main reason why I got this camera is the fact it has dual card slots - this enables you to have a backup in case one of your cards was to become corrupt.
Nikon nIKKOR 18-200MM - Many photographers in the landscape world will tell you to always shoot wide, and for the most part they're correct. For me having that extra reach for detailed shots without the need of a second lens is a plus for me - this lens is doing me proud.
Lee Filters 100mm Filter System - Lee Filters make some of the best filters in the market, I use the 100MM system - the best part of this system is the fact you can buy an adaptor ring for your lens so you don't need to buy a whole kit for every lens you own.
Lee BIG Stopper - The BIG stopper is used to capture long exposure images - keeping the shutter open for longer means anything that moves will blur (perfect for clouds & water)
3 Legged thing L Bracket - Personlly I couldn't be without this L bracket, It makes switching from landscape to portrait so easy - especially during sunset when time is limited.
Remote Shutter Release - A cheap MUST for any landscape photographer - I use this shutter release for every image I take.
Editing / Printing
Apple MacBook Air - Great laptop, never let me down and runs Lightroom and Photoshop without any issues.
Lightroom/Photoshop - Everything I need from editing to printing my limited edition prints.
Rugged Mini USB 3.0 Hard Drive - This is a BEAST!
Canon PIXMA Pro-100S Inkjet Printer - One of the most popular printers on the market - it can print anything up to 13"X19" using it's 8 cartridge system.
Canon Cli42 Multi Pack Ink Cartridge - Expensive, but worth the money to get the most of your Pixma Pro 100S.
Wild Camping
Vango Banshee Pro 200 - Small, lightweight and easy to errect. A massive selling point for me was the double door system, offering amazing views.
Therm-a-Rest NeoAir Xlite - Altough expensive, this is one purchase I will never regret, this mat keeps me comfy and warm.
VANGO Contour 60+10 Rucksack - Super commfy, plenty of padding and space to pack all my equipment inside the sack - with the exception of my tripod that i strap on the side.
